I’m a personalized instruction coach and have the opportunity to work with schools on designing what they would like education to look like in their communities. I would love for this blog to be a public journal where feedback is welcome and ideas to push my thinking are encouraged. This will be a catch-all for sharing my approach with coaching, design thinking, personalization, and maybe a few math cameos.
I spent much time agonizing over the title, but through many iterations and feedback from a colleague/friend, I landed on “Finding My Angle.” It’s meant to be a play on the math term since math education is near and dear to my heart, but is about how I’m continually learning and growing and searching for the best approach to take. My goal is to commit to blogging for one year, even if it’s only one post a month. In this time, I hope I am able to consolidate my thoughts and grow as an educator.
Well done! I love blogging, even though Iβm not actually sure anyone reads them :). I love this format too, maybe Iβll use WordPress for something this year!
